Description
- This fabric is yarn dyed with natural indigo (Neel or Wasama in Urdu) which fades throughout the fabrics life
- It may arrive in a slightly different shade due to being dried under the sun at different stages (embroidery, preshrinking, washing)
- Woven on handloom (khaddi) in sindh
- The knots technique, embroidered using a sewing machine; each segment is knotted multiple times at both ends
- Segments are different sizes
- Sky Blue and White Perle thread used alternatively
- Done manually giving it an asymmetry that is unique to each shirt
- Each shirt is embroidered in my workspace, sewn in my friend’s atelier
- Features a single piece soft Polo collar, horizontal yoke, reinforced side slits, no overlock/serging
- Shown in multiple lighting settings
- May have slight imperfections due to being handmade
- Pattern matching is not always possible due to asymmetrical handmade lines
- Lightweight 100% cotton (34 inch width) , locally sourced from Sindh
- 4 hole mother of pearl buttons
