Description
Manually Embroidered strings arranged in rugby pattern bands of 8 in 2 inch intervals, on a canvas of charcoal blue yarn dyed cotton with navy and grey yarns used. 216 strings are individually guided by hand through a sewing machine onto the fabric which is then cut and sewn producing an asymmetry that is unique to each shirt.
On a new cuffed polo pattern with a french front placket and a pocket that does its best to blend in with the variable nature of the strings technique. The collar and cuffs are made with plain fabric to maintain the spirits of a traditional rugby style pullover. The side slits are reinforced with squares. No serged/overlocked seams. Hand-sewn shanked MOP buttons.
