The Process

white textile lot

Buying the fabric

After we get your order, we head to the local fabric market nearby and get the cloth cut.

Pre-shrinking

The first thing we do after getting the fabric is to soak it in water for some time and leave it to dry. This makes sure that the cloth will not shrink after you receive your piece.

Cutting pieces

Next, we will cut pieces/panels of your fabric to get them embroidered. Depending on the design, upto 4 seperate pieces will get embroidered. All of this happens before the tailor starts sewing.

Embroidery

The embroiderer will first sketch the design on the cloth. Then according to the design, he will either embroider it through hand or use a machine.
